The annual Memorial Day service will be held at the Veterans Memorial Park in front of Fannin County Middle School Monday, May 25, beginning at noon.

Arts in the Park will be held this weekend in downtown Blue Ridge, Saturday, May 23, and Sunday, May 24, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. both days. Admission is $5 with children under 12 admitted free.

The annual Friends of the Fannin County Public Library Book Sale is underway this weekend at the First Methodist Church of Blue Ridge. The event will be held Friday and Saturday, May 22 and 23, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday, May 24, from noon until 5 p.m. The church is located off Orvin Lance Connector behind the Blue Ridge Post office.
